My Entrepreneurial Journey
Upon moving to Colorado in 2017, I was working for another practice and decided finally to make the leap and open my own solo practice. I had no clue how it would go and if I would potentially fail and have to return back to full time agency work. I opened my doors in late 2017 and within 3 months, with a huge influx of clients requesting support, I hired my first contractor. My psychotherapy practice organically grew while I began exloring the realm of coaching.
After realizing that I no longer wanted to be limited by the regulations of psychotherapy and wanted to begin supporting my clients with a robust package of various aspects of support, I started a Mastermind program focused on empowering women to dismantle internalized toxic patriarchal norms and find their voice, power and confidence. I have now run this program over 5 times and continue to develop it and enjoy the work.
In 2022, I completely transitioned out of psychotherapy into confidence coaching, business coaching and growing the psychotherapy practice. The psychotherapy practice (www.bravecounseling.com) employs 15 incredible clinicians. And the business consultation work I had started doing over 10 years prior became the main focus of my work. My 1:1 work consists mainly of supporting therapists and creative business owners in launching and scaling their business in an aligned, ethical manner. I now make about $250K/year, work about 20 hours a week and have space for dance and yoga classes during my workday, presence with my children and energy to learn and give back generously.

What working together looks like:
The work I do with you will center are two big goals. The first is to create a business expansion plan, for an ethical business, that will lead to a spacious, high income lifestyle. And two, to teach you how to market through authenticity, relationship and simplicity - how to bring in your ideal clients to work in your ideal container in a manner that doesn't burn you out and feels super genuine - rather than using sales tactics. Of course, I can share all the sales tactics I know, but I don't employ them myself! All the while, breaking through any internal barriers keeping you from taking the steps necessary to build this incredible business. The phases I walk clients through in our 3 months together looks like this:
Get clear on the Vision: what is your ideal lifestyle and how can you create a career that supports that lifestyle. What is your ideal offering and who is your ideal client? What is your ideal niche?
Create the Business or Scaling Business: Learn how to market to your ideal client using genuine connections and authenticity (as simply/low maintenance as possible). Set up all the infrastructure to make your business run smoothly.
Marketing and Launch: Learn how to launch and sell from an aligned and ethical and aligned energy.
I provide step by step guidance on each of these steps including how to build a website, how to niche, how to message, how to hire, interview, train, all the things.
Throughout, we are working through limiting beliefs getting in the way using embodiment practices, inner child work or whatever other practices work well for you.
My goal for clients is to have their new business or new scaled business plan up and running within 3 months.
